Why Organizations Choose Team Training

Built to solve problems individual courses can't

Seamless Team Onboarding

Take the burden off senior management. When you hire a talented accountant who's new to utility or co-op accounting, this platform takes them from day one to fully functional on FERC and RUS fundamentals, regulatory structures, and rate concepts — without pulling a senior team member off their own work to train them.

Mitigate Operational & Rate Risk

A single error in a work order, an asset retirement, or a cost-of-service study can cost your organization real money and credibility with your board or regulator. Equip your team with the same field-tested methods and step-by-step verification process used in actual utility engagements.

Keep Institutional Knowledge Inside the Organization

Staff turnover shouldn't mean losing your accounting methodology. With a team or enterprise portal, your standardized approach to FERC/RUS accounting, work orders, and rate concepts stays available to your whole organization, 24/7 — not locked in one person's head.

What's Included

Everything your team needs, built around your organization

Custom Learning Portal

Your organization gets a dedicated learning portal — branded with your name and configured for your team. Staff enroll through a single, organized home for all their training.

Custom Career Tracks

We build career tracks specifically for your organization — selecting and sequencing courses from our full library to match the roles, experience levels, and priorities on your team.

Cohort Progress Tracking

A designated manager in your organization gets administrator access — so HR directors and training managers can monitor course completion, CPE hours earned, and exam results across their entire team.

Full Course Library Access

Choose from 20+ NASBA-certified courses covering FERC and RUS accounting, construction accounting, regulatory accounting, financial statements, KPIs, rates, AI applications, and board governance.

Individual Certificates of Completion

Every student receives their own NASBA Certificate of Completion upon passing the exam — documentation each employee can keep for their personal CPE record, independent of the organization.

NASBA CPE Credits

Every course in our library is NASBA-registered for CPE credit, documented and tracked for professional development requirements.

Group Pricing

Pricing scales with your team size, starting at $2,395/yr for three seats. One conversation gets you a firm quote in writing for a budget or board request.

How It Works

From conversation to your team learning in days

1
Tell us about your team

Contact us with your team size, roles, and training priorities. We'll discuss the right course selection and career track structure for your organization.

2
We build your custom setup

We configure your dedicated learning portal, build your custom career tracks from our course library, and set up manager access for your designated training administrator.

3
Your team enrolls and learns

Staff get individual logins and access their assigned courses on their own schedule — on desktop, tablet, or mobile. No software to install, no IT involvement required.

4
You track progress and results

Your training manager monitors completion rates, CPE hours earned, and exam results across the entire cohort — with full visibility into individual and team progress.

Example Custom Career Tracks

Who this is for

Built for organizations, not just individuals

Individual course enrollment works well for one person. Group training is for organizations that want consistent, documented professional development across their entire finance team — with accountability and visibility built in.

  • Electric cooperatives building structured onboarding programs
  • Municipal and public power utilities with multi-person finance teams
  • Investor-owned utilities training accounting and rates staff
  • HR directors managing CPE compliance and professional development
  • Training managers building role-based learning programs
  • Board members seeking structured financial and industry education
  • CEOs and GMs investing in their organization's financial leadership
  • State and regional co-op or utility associations offering training as a member benefit

Team & Enterprise Pricing

What it costs

Group programs are priced by the number of people you want trained — not by how many courses you pick. Every seat gets the full NASBA-registered library, so the track we build for a work order accountant and the track we build for your controller both come out of the same agreement, and the person you hire eight months from now is already covered.

Starting at
$2,395 /yr
Three named seats, full course library, shared team portal. Larger teams, enterprise-wide access, and association programs are quoted by team size — most land between $3,500 and $10,000 a year.

  • Named seats with full access to the course library

  • Shared team portal and manager progress dashboard
  • Automated NASBA CPE tracking and individual certificates

Why we quote instead of publishing a grid. Team size, mixed role tracks, multi-year terms, association programs, and add-ons like a live board or executive briefing all move the number. One short conversation gets you a firm figure — usually same or next business day — in writing, so you can take it into a budget or board request.

For Co-op & Utility Associations

Bring this to your membership, not just your own staff

State and regional associations can offer this library as a member benefit. There's more than one way to structure it — we'll work out the right fit in a conversation, but here are the common paths.

Association-Wide Site License

A single agreement gives every member utility or co-op access to the full course library — administered centrally, with usage reporting back to the association.

Member Discount Program

The association promotes preferred pricing to its membership, and individual member organizations enroll and pay directly at that member rate.

Co-Branded Training Program

Courses positioned as part of your association's own education offering, drawing on our library and expertise under your name and existing member communications.

Every association serves its membership a little differently, so we don't quote these sight unseen. Reach out below and we'll set up a conversation to design a program — structure, pricing, and administration — that fits how you want to serve your members.

What Our Students Say

Trusted by over 1,000 utility and co-op professionals

★★★★★

"We sent four of our board members through the Board Member Training before our rate study review. The quality of their questions to our consultant was noticeably better. It made the whole process more productive for everyone in the room."

Tom
General Manager, Electric Cooperative
★★★★★

"I was new to co-op accounting and these courses gave me a clear, practical overview of the RUS chart of accounts and work order accounting. I can now do my job effectively and think about ways we can improve our accounting processes."

Ashley
Co-op Accountant
★★★★★

"Russ was great and explained everything really well — someone who has actually been in the industry and knows both the finance and utility sectors. Our whole team has taken at least one course and all of them would take more."

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum group size?
There's no strict minimum — group pricing and custom portal setup make the most sense for teams of 5 or more, but we're happy to discuss options for smaller teams as well.
How long does setup take?
Once we agree on the course selection and career track structure, your portal is typically ready within a few business days. Your team can begin enrolling immediately after setup.
Can we choose different courses for different roles?
Yes — that's the whole point of the custom career track model. New hires, controllers, board members, and rate analysts all have different learning needs. We build tracks specific to each role in your organization.
Who manages the portal for our organization?
You designate one person — typically an HR director, training manager, or office manager — as the administrator. They get manager-level access to enroll staff, monitor progress, and pull completion reports.
Do employees earn NASBA CPE credits?
Yes. Every course is NASBA-registered. Each employee receives an individual certificate of completion showing CPE hours earned, which meets NASBA documentation requirements for continuing education records.
How do we get started?
Use the form below or call 608-628-4020. Tell us your team size and the roles you want to train — we'll respond quickly with options and pricing.
